Commission for Rosemary Tindal, directly descended from the King-Harman family (of Rockingham and Boyle), for The Gathering event. Some of the headstones in the family plot at Ardcarne are difficult to read, so this bronze plaque identifies and maps them.
After a marketing initiative in the New Year, I secured two new commissions. With such a short deadline a huge push was needed to produce 25 Digital Media Awards for the big event in Dublin’s Conference Centre on the 1st of March.
Another new commission acquired early in the year and with an even tighter deadline was to make new awards for the Impartial Reporter newspaper in Enniskillen. The budget was tight but the client was lovely to work for so I was delighted to be able to produce these laser-engraved limestone award pieces for them.
Just in time for the Christmas Exhibition at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre in Manorhamilton, I finished some small bird sculptures. I carved two in stone, and also cast them in bronze, giving me two pairs to exhibit.
