DesignPro Ltd. from County Limerick has been named as overall winner of the National Enterprise Awards by the County and City Enterprise Boards at the annual awards ceremony held this evening in Dublin Castle. DesignPro Ltd., which was set up in 2004, is a leading provider of precision automation and machine build services to the medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronic and automotive markets. It employs fourteen people at its two premises in Newcastlewest and Abbeyfeale and is supported by the Limerick County Enterprise Board. Solaris Botanicals in Galway won the 'Best Start-Up Business' Award, Aaron Value Adding Services Ltd. in County Clare won the 'Innovation' Award with the 'Best Export Business' Award going to Chia bia in County Waterford.
