Bronze dove on olive wood

This bronze dove on olive wood was a lovely commission to make, with thanks to the patron, Father Niall Ahern.I first carved the dove in white marble, then sand cast it in bronze.I sourced the olive wood myself on a trip to Portugal, and the little bronze olive branch was made by my friend, Louiza Dimitriou, who lives and works in Athens.
